Becky Lohmann is a government affairs specialist with extensive experience helping CATALYST clients achieve their desired results. Lohmann was named one of The Missouri Times 30 under 30, which recognizes those making a difference in the public policy arena. She can be heard dispensing her expertise on the issues as a co-host of the influential MOLeg Podcast, an arm of The Missouri Times.

At CATALYST, Lohmann has been a key player in helping emerging and disruptive industries take on the status quo.

With her work on accounts like Uber, Lohmann has advocated for more transportation options for Missourians and more work opportunities for drivers at the push of a button on their smartphone.

A fan of live music, she has been a force behind efforts to ensure music fans have more options for good seats at face value with her work on behalf of Live Nation to help stop scalpers from using electronic bots to purchase large numbers of tickets to sell at prices that are cost-prohibitive for many fans.

Lohmann’s passion for impacting public policy began with her sister’s struggles with epilepsy. When she saw the obstacles and limited options for medical treatment, specifically the Missouri ban on CBD Hemp Oil, which has been effective in treating the disease, she wanted to become an advocate for people like her sister.

Before joining CATALYST, Lohmann served as an account executive for the experimental marketing firm Kicking Cow Promotions where she managed events for major corporate brands like Nestle Purina and Hallmark. She also served as an Account Executive at the digital marketing firm the Marquette Group.

As a Missouri Millennial, Lohmann is driven to shape public policy that provides more opportunity to the next generation of leaders. She is motivated to helping create an environment in Missouri that retains and attracts more of her generation in the state with greater work and social opportunities for young people. She is also driven to help a new generation of young women achieve their dreams, serving as a mentor and sports coach for dozens of women. Lohmann is currently a mentor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Columbia. 

With her background in experimental marketing and passion for travel, music and the arts, Lohmann brings a force of creative energy to CATALYST. She finds personal and professional inspiration in large music festivals such as Burning Man and Electric Forest where new music, ideas and business concepts are formed and shared.

Lohmann has been highly active in philanthropic activities including St. Jude’s Philanthropy and the United Way's 100 Neediest Cases.

Lohmann is a graduate of the University of Missouri’s prestigious School of Journalism where she earned a degree in Strategic Communications. As an undergrad, she was awarded membership to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars four years running.

Lohmann was born and raised in St. Louis and currently lives in Columbia.
